“SLEEPING WHILE ON DUTY” COPS AT EB Magalona Police Office: Friday evening inspection by Napolcom Dir. Joseph Celis revealed breaches of operation protocols.
Regional Director Joseph Celis said at least four policemen were sleeping when he arrived at the EB Magalona police office in northern Negros Occidental on Friday, May 14, 2021.
He also found no desk officer or sentinel at the station, nor the station officer in-charge or the deputy around. There were not even Official duty detail order issued to those present during the inspection, Celis said.
Meanwhile, Negros Occ. police director Romy Palgue has ordered the relief of EB Magalona police office OIC Lt. John Paul Tabujara, even as the police provincial deputy information officer described the violations as “isolated case.” (with PNA)
