Theatrics and imagery attended the anticipated announcement by Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. of his running mate, Anilao town Mayor Nathalie Ann Debuque during a program Monday morning on September 30 after the flag raising ceremony at the capitol.
The Birons were in full force, Rep. Ferjenel, Mayor Braeden John of Dumangas, Mayor Bryant Paul of Barotac Nuevo and other incumbent political lieutenants were there demonstrating who really pulled the strings to influence the governor’s choice.
Meanwhile, the graduating Rep. Raul Boboy Tupas who much earlier had announced his bid for vice governor, were reported to have said “indi man kita kapili kon sin-o makontra sa aton”.
