Police Brig. Gen. Leo Francisco was relieved as director of Police regional office 6 (Pro-6) effective Monday, May 8 or just about 9 months after he assumed the post in August last year.
Police Major Mary Grace Socorro Borio, Pro-6 spokesperson noted in media interviews on Monday that the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame has yet to announce Francisco’s replacement.
Gen. Francisco’s relief is part of a wider reshuffling of police officers ordered by the new Chief PNP, Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. who replaced Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. as Chief PNP just weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Pro-6 deputy director for administration Gen. Archival Macala is officer in-charge of the post vacated by Francisco, Borio said.
