DR. RAUL BANIAS IS BACK AS ILOILO PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATOR, SAYS ATTY. DENNIS VENTILACION
Provincial legal officer Dennis Ventilacion confirmed on Tuesday, May 16 in a text message to HilwayNews that Dr. Banias returned as provincial administrator, a post he first held for years when Arthur D. Defensor was governor.
Prior to Banias’ appointment as provincial administrator, Ventilacion was holding the position in concurrent capacity.
Raul Banias was briefly Concepcion town mayor in 2019. He lost to Milliard Villanueva in the 2022 elections. But Banias previously served as Concepcion mayor for 3 terms.
