VP LENI ROBREDO CHECKS ON YOUTH AND ‘ANGAT BUHAY’ PROJECTS IN ILOILO: it’s wrong to talk about politics amidst the pandemic, the Vice President said.
Robredo attended a cooking demo with barangay nutrition scholars of Carles after dropping by Concepcion town on March 16, 2021.
Both communities are assisted by the supplemental feeding projects under the ‘Angat Buhay’ program of the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
In Anilao town VP Leni graced an informal interaction at the Youth Center which the OVP has also helped.
Robredo was in Crossing Dapuyan, San Joaquin the day before, March 15 to observe on the health and hygiene benefits to remote areas targeted by the Zero Open Defecation program aided by the OVP.
The VP talked to members and officers of the Oton Farmers Producers Cooperative after visiting Tigbauan town.
In Iloilo City Robredo visited the COVID-19 molecular lab where the OVP has donated P7 million worth of test kits. The OVP also granted P4.5 million laboratory equipment to Iloilo City.
