Mayor Suzette T. Alquisada will issue a ‘State Of Municipality Address (SOMA)’ at 5PM Friday, October 18 to highlight the 21st “Adlaw sang Tigbauan” marking the town’s founding anniversary.
The October 18 SOMA is a culminating event of 5-day activities which started on Monday, October 14.
The Monday celebration kicked off with a presentation of Boy and Girl Officials following the 7AM flag raising ceremony. A trade fair opening, the tourism pasalubong center inauguration, and awarding ceremony for Barangay Nutrition Program capped the first day schedule.
Other activities included the Buntis Congress on Tuesday, a session of Boy and Girl Officials at the Tigbauan covered gym on Wednesday, and the senior citizens Elderly Month celebration on Thursday.
The unveiling of a bas-relief sculpture at the covered gym and a “stylized dance competition” would add color to activities on October 18.
